Our mission

Only now can I reveal the true purpose of our canal trip. We are in fact on a mission, the purpose of which is to find 'The Missing Link'

For a long time man has sought to find the origin of the species. It is an historic fact that well known philosophers have pondered and deliberated over many many years without actually finding the answer.

Thanks to the efforts of our three escaped convicts, who have researched this conundrum over the past few days, they have come up with an astonishing fact that throws new light on the matter - The ancients used to spell the letters Dr as L which means man has been searching for the Missing Link when it should have been "The Missing Drink"

Our mission therefore is to find 'The Missing Drink'

We shall leave no stone unturned in our quest as we search from Pub to Club

We have a good lead because we know what we're looking for even though it's shrouded in mystery

Research has given us a lead and revealed an old picture of our goal

Will we succeed - We can but try and we are told we are very trying

All will be revealed at the end of the voyage/story

If it's out there then we'll find it
