Penkridge (day 4)

Coming towards the village of Coven and the welcoming Fox & Anchor
Been in here a few times and always found it to be pleasant.
Unable to visit this time as it's early morning

Notice the banking between the steel piling. I believe there was a wharf here many years ago. I'm going to research this further

Descending toward Penkridge

Penkridge

We went into the Horse & jockey and had a pint or two of a real ale known as Horse & Jockey - Now that's appropriate. After this a visit to 'Flames' Indian Restaurant was inevitable. This place has a reputation for quality and value

Just had a curry in 'Flames' Indian restaurant. Top quality food and service in a nice setting also a superb menu. We went in hungry and came out full, which is how it should be

Dave deciding what to have with me and
Trev suggesting he tries the lot
